| Large open bowl, black with incised text in whiteRupert Spira studied ceramics with Henry Hammond at West Surrey College of Art and Design, Farnham and then with Michael Cardew at Wenford Bridge Pottery. Spira was introduced to Lisa Sainsbury in the mid 1990s and she went on to commission him to make ceramics planters, and later tea sets. The Collection now includes a large body of Spiras work.
