The Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts is closed for building and refurbishment but the staff are still busy bringing arts activities and events to Norwich, Norfolk and beyond. See our What's On pages for further information.
The 'building link' project will transform the Sainsbury Centre, enhancing the visitor experience.
It will provide an internal link between the main gallery and the crescent wing with additional display space, revamp the 26-year-old main building, and provide for the ever-growing education programme with a new state-of-the-art education space and artists' workshop.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the renewed and refreshed Sainsbury Centre in spring 2006
In the meantime
- You can use this website to gain 'virtual access' to the collections.
- You can get email and/or postal updates on the building work, events and the grand re-opening by filling in the Mailing list form.
- You can still contact Sainsbury Centre and Sainsbury Research Unit staff in their offices in the Crescent Wing (only the 1978 building is being effected).
- You will find the UEA's School of World Art Studies in temporary accommodation next to the Sainsbury Centre.
