If an object is not on display, can I arrange to come and see it?
Yes, subject to staff availability and the location of the object (if it being conserved or is out on loan, it may not be possible to view it for some time). Please direct your requests to Collections Team at [email protected] or by post to Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts, University of East Anglia, Norwich NR4 7TJ
Why did the Sainsburys choose UEA?
When Robert and Lisa Sainsbury were looking for a university to give their collection to, they were passionate that their objects should be kept and displayed together the new campus at UEA had plenty of room, the necessary flexibility and had already embraced modern architecture with Denys Lasduns famous designs.
