Continuing an exciting programme of loans from Tate, Umberto Boccioni\'s remarkable sculpture, Unique Forms of Continuity in Space, will be on display from 4 March.

"Unique Forms of Continuity in Space" of 1913 will be displayed in the Living Area Gallery.
One of the masterworks of the Italian Futurist movement, the sculpture is the only survivng work of a series of four striding figures by the artist. The figure appears deformed by speed, embodying the urge towards progress prevalent at the time it was made.
The Sainsbury Centre's collaboration with Tate will continue in 2014 with the loan of four monumental bronze relief sculptures by Henri Matisse, known as the "Backs".
