Young Associates is a group of young people who meet at the Centre to discuss current issues in art and culture, and to devise and deliver visual arts projects.

This year, the Young Associates have produced a publication documenting their own art work and personal responses to the Sainsbury Centre. The group has conducted a series of interventions in the galleries and collaborated with Norwich-based SHhhh Collective to create projects in response to the Japan: Kingdom of Characters exhibition, which was displayed at the Centre in spring 2012.
