The EKWC is an international workspace which aims to develop experimental work in ceramics. The diverse works resulting from these residencies explore the capabilities and possibilities of ceramic as a material rather than a crafts discipline. Slip offered the visitor an opportunity to see a range of exciting and invigorating work work which is helping to redefine our understanding of contemporary ceramics.
Slip is a collaboration between the Frans Hals Musuem, Haarlem, the European Ceramic Work Centre, s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands and the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts.
