Garden Greats: Nature and the Arts

The Sainsbury Centre welcomes Garden Greats: Nature and the Arts, the second online exhibition by MA Museology students. The exhibition is core part of the course, which allows students to discover the practicalities and the pitfalls of curating a show in the technological age.

Online exhibitions provide access to subjects otherwise impractical or unattainable in the conventional museum space and Garden Greats does exactly this by bringing the outside in! The viewer can explore gardens from around the planet and discover how the history of the world, its trade, religions and cultures have developed the green spaces we enjoy so much today.

The show runs from 5 June until Sunday 9 September. In addition to the online exhibition visitors to the Sainsbury Centre can enjoy activities, animations and art in the resource room for the duration.
